The Direct Primary Care Model

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a model of healthcare that focuses on the physician-patient relationship without the limitations of insurance or the lack of personalization of a larger practice or limited visit times. It is a concierge-style medicine that does not bill insurance or have hidden fees. For a low, monthly membership fee, there are no surprise bills or unexpected costs. Members have easy, direct and quality access to their pediatrician whenever they need it. You may choose to use your insurance for labs, X-rays, ER visits or specialty care. Please see the FAQ page for pricing.

How Are We Different?

You pay a monthly fee for unlimited access to your pediatrician. Instead of billing hassles, price confusion, playing telephone with clinic staff and piles of forms to fill out at each visit, you receive all the care you need for one low monthly price. We offer home visits to make healthcare more convenient for families. Direct Primary Care has been shown to provide better health outcomes, decreased emergency room/urgent care and hospitalizations.

Why DPC?

  1. In-home appointments

  2. 24/7 access to your primary care doctor

  3. Same day or next day appointments (schedules permitting)

  4. Quality of care: Visits without the doctor or patient feeling rushed, continuity of care, close follow-up

  5. No long waits or difficulties getting a hold of a physician for questions

  6. No longer need to spend a weekend going to an urgent care or emergency room to see a provider who does not know your child because your pediatrician’s office is closed

DPC is Perfect For...

  • Parents who want a fixed price (no copays) so they can budget their healthcare expenses without worrying about unexpected or hidden medical costs at each visit

  • Families who need appointments with short wait times and ease of scheduling

  • Parents who want to be able to text or email their pediatrician to address certain concerns without having to make a trip into the office

  • Families who want access to their primary care doctor beyond traditional clinic hours

  • Families with high-deductible insurance plans who usually pay for every office visit no matter how minor the issue

  • Patients who participate in Health Sharing Ministries, which often don’t cover checkups or vaccines

  • Families with inconsistent health benefits who want to keep the same provider through career/insurance plan changes
